IVF and ICSI Services for Fertility Treatment

IVF ICSI
Invitro Fertilization (IVF) is an assisted reproductive technology where eggs and sperm will be placed in a laboratory dish, allowing the sperm to penetrate the egg, similar to natural fertilization.
Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a form of IVF recommended for males. This procedure is the injection of a single live sperm into an egg instead of natural sperm penetration.
Who Can Benefit?
- Couples with severe male infertility
- Women with blocked or damaged fallopian tubes

What is the difference between IVF and ICSI?
When using IVF, the sperm is added to the egg to allow them to be fertilized. When using ICSI, the sperm is injected to each egg using a microscopic needle.
Is ICSI painful?
9 out of 10 women do not experience pain during fertility treatment. This is because the process involves anesthesia and the insertion of sperm via a catheter, which may cause slight discomfort or weakness.
Is ICSI safe for the baby
ICSI involves slightly higher risks compared to some other fertility treatments. One of the concerns is that eggs may be damaged during the injection process with sperm.
What is the disadvantage of ICSI?
ICSI bypasses the natural selection process for sperm. This means there is a risk of passing on genetic disorders associated with male infertility to the offspring. If the cause of male infertility is a genetic anomaly, using ICSI could unintentionally transmit these genetic conditions to the child.
