Double Stimulation and Embryo Pooling Services

Double Stimulation for Enhanced Fertility Results

Double Stimulation & Embryo Pooling

Double stimulation involves two rounds of ovarian stimulation in a single menstrual cycle to maximize egg retrieval, particularly for women with low ovarian reserves. Embryo Pooling allows for the collection and storage of multiple embryos over several cycles, increasing the chances of success in future IVF cycles.

Who Can Benefit?

  • Women with low ovarian reserve
  • Those undergoing fertility preservation treatments
  • Women looking to improve the chances of successful IVF

Double stimulation is nothing but stimulating it twice during the ovarian cycle. The stimulation starts as usual on the second or third day of a menstrual cycle and typically takes up to 14 days. The second ovarian stimulation starts a few days following the egg retrieval.

Collecting eggs more than twice prior to embryo transfer is known as pooling. The health and maturity of the embryo must be at their best in order to perform the transfer under optimal circumstances. Sometimes the quantity of embryos gathered at a single moment is not enough to reach the required quantity or condition.

Women seem to be safe using duostim. The two successive freezing/thawing procedures that are required in duostim raise the possibility of oocyte and embryo waste. Duostim’s sole advantage is that it can reduce the time to a subsequent retrieval by two weeks in the event that oocyte or embryo accumulation is required.

The odds of success rate in double-embryo transfer is 24% lower than those from another single-embryo transfer.
